Explore Angkor Wat by jeep
After breakfast, your guide picks you up in a vintage jeep to explore one of the largest and most beautiful temple complexes in the world, Angkor Wat. This world heritage site originates from the 12th century and is a mystical experience of beautiful sculptures and stunning architecture. You will first visit the majestic Angkor Wat temple, then have a short refreshment break before the short drive to Angkor Thom complex to see the spectacular 12th century Bayon. The 54 four-headed Buddha statues are one of the most impressive sights of the temple complex and provide exceptional photo opportunities. After a secluded picnic lunch between the temples, we will visit the Ta Phrom. This iconic temple remains partly overgrown with trees and gigantic roots nestled in and on the walls creating a striking visual image. After a long and rewarding day, you will return to your hotel for a 60-minute aromatherapy massage.

Waterblessing by a monk and Phare the circus
This morning, you will view Angkor from a totally different perspective. You will fly by private helicopter along the moat of the magnificent Angkor Wat temple and appreciate the extent and beauty of this archaeological wonder from the air. The flight also takes in spectacular views of Phnom Bok, the Rolous group and the unique floating village on the shores of the Tonle Sap Lake. Another new experience for you will be the water blessing which is traditional Cambodian practice dating back to ancient times. Receive a water blessing at the Wat Bo Banteay Chey Pagoda, an ancient pagoda in the countryside, just south of Siem Reap. Blessed water will be poured over your head as the monks chant harmoniously to wish you good luck, safe travels, and a long life. You will then change into dry clothes and sit with the monk experiencing a light sprinkling of water. At the end of the blessing, you will receive red ties around your wrist to signify the blessing performed. Bring an extra set of dry clothes to change into after the water blessing. Clothes must cover shoulders and knees. In the evening, you will be captivated by Phare, the Cambodian circus that mixes theatre, music, dance, acrobatics, juggling, aerial acts, fire and contortion with an explosion of virtuosity and sensitivity in their performances. Witness their incredibly unique way of telling Cambodian tales using modern circus arts and high energy music, touching on themes strong in Cambodian traditions, ethos and spirit. During the hour-long show, the Phare performers share their emotions and excitement, blowing the audience away with their integrity and power.
